Privacy policy

Last updated September 2026. Short version: we collect what you send us to get you a quote, we do not sell it, and you can ask us to delete it.

Who we are

colombiasurgeryquotes.com is operated by Scout Theory LLC, a limited liability company registered in Ohio, USA, with operations coordinated from Medellín, Colombia. Contact: andy@colombiamedical.co.

What we collect

• Quote requests: name, email, phone or WhatsApp number if you give it, procedure interest, city and timeline preferences, and anything you write in the message field, including health information you choose to share.
• Source data: which page the form was sent from and the referring site, so Andy knows the context of your message.
• Analytics: Google Analytics 4 collects anonymized usage data (pages viewed, device type, approximate region). You can block this with a browser extension or by disabling cookies.
• Estimator: runs entirely in your browser. Selections are not stored unless you choose to send them via WhatsApp or the form.

How we use it

• To reply to you and prepare a quote.
• To share relevant details with a surgeon or clinic only after you agree to be introduced to that specific provider.
• To improve the site using aggregate analytics.

We do not sell, rent, or auction your details to clinics or marketers. We do not add you to newsletters without asking.

Health information

Anything medical you share is used solely to assess fit and obtain a quote. Send only what you are comfortable sending. WhatsApp messages are end-to-end encrypted by WhatsApp; email is not. Do not send full medical records by email unless asked.

Where data lives

Form submissions are stored in a Google Workspace account. WhatsApp messages live on WhatsApp. Google Analytics data is processed by Google. Data may be processed in the US and Colombia.

Retention and your rights

We keep inquiry data for up to 24 months unless you become a client, in which case it is kept for the duration of coordination and a reasonable period after. Email andy@colombiamedical.co to access, correct, or delete your data. Residents of the EU, UK, California, and Colombia (Law 1581 of 2012) have statutory rights we will honor on request.

Third-party links

Links to clinics, hospitals, Wise, and other sites lead to their own privacy policies. Some links are affiliate links; they do not change what you pay.

We will update the date at the top when this policy changes. Material changes will be noted on this page.
