- Typical 2026 range in Colombia: $3,500 to $7,000. US self-pay: $6,000 to $12,000.
- "360" has no fixed definition. The quote must list the areas by name. Four is common; six or seven is a bigger case and a bigger price.
- VASER (ultrasound-assisted) adds $600 to $1,500 and is legitimate; ask if it applies to every area or only some.
- Lymphatic massage and garments are the lines that quietly go missing.
Ask five Colombian clinics for a Lipo 360 quote and you will get five different surgeries. The phrase started as shorthand for "the whole midsection" and became a menu item with no ingredients list. That is fine for a headline, and useless for comparing quotes.
What "360" should mean on the quote
A complete circumferential midsection lipo treats: upper abdomen, lower abdomen, flanks (both sides), and the lower back. That is four to five areas depending on how the surgeon counts flanks. Many quotes add bra roll (upper back) and sometimes the mons or the arms, and those are legitimate additions with legitimate extra cost. The quote must name them. "Lipo 360, all areas included" tells you nothing.
Typical 2026 total: $3,500 to $7,000. US self-pay for equivalent circumferential lipo typically runs $6,000 to $12,000, and US quotes rarely include garments or lymphatic massage at all.
The areas trap
Here is the comparison that trips people up. Clinic A quotes $3,900 for "Lipo 360." Clinic B quotes $5,400 for "Lipo 360." Clinic A means abdomen and flanks, three areas. Clinic B means upper and lower abdomen, flanks, lower back, and bra roll, six areas. Clinic B is cheaper per area and doing more surgery. You cannot know that unless both quotes list areas.
Also ask about volume. Colombian surgeons, like US surgeons, cap aspirate per session for safety (commonly around 5 liters as an outpatient ceiling). A high-BMI patient asking for seven areas may be told it is two sessions or a hospital setting. A quote that promises everything in one session for a BMI over 32 deserves a question about where the ceiling is.
VASER, laser, and "hi-def"
VASER uses ultrasound to emulsify fat before suction. It is widely used in Colombia, it is real equipment, and it carries a real surcharge of $600 to $1,500 because the consumables are expensive and the case runs longer. It is helpful for fibrous areas (back, male chest) and for skin retraction. It is not magic and it does not replace surgeon skill.
"Lipo HD" or "hi-def" means the surgeon sculpts to reveal muscle definition. It is a technique on top of VASER, it is highly operator-dependent, and it is where a lot of aggressive marketing lives. If a quote says hi-def, ask to see the surgeon's own results with the same body type, and ask how many hi-def cases they do per month. Quotes for hi-def typically run $5,500 to $9,000.
Lipo 360 with BBL
Most BBL cases in Colombia start as a 360 because the harvested fat is the graft. If your quote combines them, it should list the lipo areas separately from the BBL and it should state that fat is placed subcutaneously only, above the muscle, which is the safety standard. Combined lipo-plus-BBL cases are longer and many senior surgeons move them to a hospital setting. See the BBL cost breakdown and the dedicated guide at Colombia BBL.
The lines that disappear
- Second garment. You need two so one can be washed. Quotes that include one are pushing $60 to you later.
- Lymphatic massage. Standard of care after lipo in Colombia, six to ten sessions. Some quotes include it, most leave it to the recovery house. Either is fine as long as you know.
- Foams and boards. Small, but the surgeon will expect you to have them.
Trip math
Eight nights is typical for a 360: surgery day 2, first massage day 3, garment check day 5, clearance day 8. Flights plus lodging add roughly $900 to $1,800. Most patients land 40 to 55 percent under a US number all-in, and the US number does not include the massage package. The estimator runs it with your city and nights. Broader vetting guidance lives on Colombia Medical and the procedure guide at Colombia Cosmetic Surgery. Pay the clinic through Wise to avoid the bank wire spread.

Questions people ask
How much does Lipo 360 cost in Colombia in 2026?
Typically $3,500 to $7,000 at accredited clinics, depending on the number of areas and whether VASER is used. US self-pay for equivalent circumferential lipo runs $6,000 to $12,000. Typical ranges, not quotes.
What areas are included in Lipo 360?
There is no fixed definition. Usually upper and lower abdomen, flanks, and lower back. Bra roll, arms, and thighs are extras. The quote must list the areas by name.
Is VASER lipo worth the extra cost in Colombia?
For fibrous areas and skin retraction it helps, and the $600 to $1,500 surcharge reflects real equipment cost. It does not replace surgeon skill.
Who should perform liposuction in Colombia?
A plastic surgeon listed in ReTHUS with SCCP membership. Lipo is the procedure most commonly done by non-specialists; verify the specialty.
How long do I stay in Colombia after Lipo 360?
Eight nights is typical, with lymphatic massage starting around day 3 and a clearance check before flying.
Does the quote include lymphatic massage and garments?
Sometimes. Six to ten massage sessions and two compression garments are standard post-lipo care in Colombia. Confirm whether they are in the quote or billed by the recovery house.
