Colombia quote guide

A full-arch quote is not just “price per arch.”

Count the implants, define the temporary and final prosthesis, identify preparatory work and map the treatment timeline before comparing totals.

First: define what is actually being quoted

“All-on-4” is often used as a familiar label even when the actual plan uses a different implant count or prosthetic design. Compare the written plan, not the marketing shorthand.

A fair comparison starts by writing the proposal as a specification instead of a marketing label. The purpose is not to decide which treatment is appropriate. That is a clinical question for the treating professionals. The purpose here is narrower: make sure the numbers you are comparing refer to the same work and the same bundle of services.

Questions to send back before you compare prices

  1. How many implants are proposed for each arch?
  2. What temporary teeth do I receive and when?
  3. What is the final prosthesis made from?
  4. Are extractions or grafting included?
  5. How many trips are required?
  6. What is due on the first trip versus the final-restoration trip?
  7. Which parts of the plan could change after CBCT or clinical examination?

What the total-trip number adds

After the medical proposal is clear, add the travel layer separately: flights, accommodation, companion costs, local transportation, food, supplies and contingency money. Keeping the trip budget separate prevents a provider with a bundled hotel from looking more expensive than a provider whose accommodation cost simply appears later.

Use the whole-trip estimator once you have a working quote amount.

When you have two proposals

Do not reduce the comparison to “A is cheaper than B.” Put both documents against the same categories. If one proposal says nothing about an item, record that as not stated and ask. If the treatment plan itself differs, resolve that difference before treating the totals as competing prices.

Compare two quote texts

Need another provider to respond to the same case?

Build a short reusable case file first. That makes it easier to give the second provider the same core facts rather than accidentally requesting a quote for a different version of the case.
