Colombia quote guide

Cost per graft is useful. It is not the whole hair-transplant proposal.

Compare estimated graft count, technique, who performs each step, medication, aftercare and the possibility of another session before you compare totals.

First: define what is actually being quoted

A low per-graft number can be paired with a different graft estimate, different staffing model or different package. Compare the whole proposal, not just the arithmetic on one line.

A fair comparison starts by writing the proposal as a specification instead of a marketing label. The purpose is not to decide which treatment is appropriate. That is a clinical question for the treating professionals. The purpose here is narrower: make sure the numbers you are comparing refer to the same work and the same bundle of services.

Questions to send back before you compare prices

  1. What graft count are you estimating and how firm is that estimate?
  2. Who performs extraction, recipient-site creation and implantation?
  3. What method is being proposed?
  4. Which medications and aftercare visits are included?
  5. Are PRP, hotel or transportation optional add-ons or inside the total?
  6. How many days should I remain in Colombia?
  7. Under what circumstances would a second session be discussed?

What the total-trip number adds

After the medical proposal is clear, add the travel layer separately: flights, accommodation, companion costs, local transportation, food, supplies and contingency money. Keeping the trip budget separate prevents a provider with a bundled hotel from looking more expensive than a provider whose accommodation cost simply appears later.

Use the whole-trip estimator once you have a working quote amount.

When you have two proposals

Do not reduce the comparison to “A is cheaper than B.” Put both documents against the same categories. If one proposal says nothing about an item, record that as not stated and ask. If the treatment plan itself differs, resolve that difference before treating the totals as competing prices.

Compare two quote texts

Need another provider to respond to the same case?

Build a short reusable case file first. That makes it easier to give the second provider the same core facts rather than accidentally requesting a quote for a different version of the case.
